Amy Hayes Kennedy

Amy Hayes Kennedy began her legal career in 1997 and family law has been a central part of her practice. In 2015, Amy was admitted to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), a national organization of preeminent family law attorneys.

Amy prefers to use mediation and collaborative law to solve even the most complex family law matters because she sees these approaches as the best way to achieve lasting solutions to meet the unique needs of her clients and their families. Amy is skilled in the courtroom and takes a firm yet compassionate approach to litigation realizing that family relationships will long outlast legal proceedings. Whether in the courtroom or a collaborative setting, Amy’s creative approach to problem solving enables her to assist her clients with a wide range of family law issues including child custody, valuation and distribution of diverse marital assets, child support and alimony.

In addition to family law matters, Amy assists clients to create their basic estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives. She offers common sense solutions tailored to client’s needs and, most importantly, offers peace of mind once the estate plan that achieves their goals and honors their values is in order.
